hmmmm...

What concerns me those few days...hmmmmm..

I wanna get some volunteer hours somewhere...Last summer I volunteered at the Cnd. Blood Donation services..dunno if I want to join agian. Would love to do a few chores around a real hospital though! We'll see.

A few books in mind to read:

-Fadak in History

-Al Murajaat

-Peshawar Nights

-Greater Sins

-Kitab Al Irshad

and finish off "The Choice" by Ahmad Deedat

LOL I don't even know if I am gonna finish reading 1/4 of them...but I really wanna get them this summer.Insh'Allah.

and I REALLY REALLY recommend reading "THe Kite Runner" A well though-out, stunning..amazingly written book...Throughout the last chapter, I was sobbing badly...So heartbreaking and just amazing..

anddd.....

SOCCER!!!!A.K.A Football :P LOL, no it's the other way around..

YEAHHHH...GOOO BRAZILLLLLLLLLLL!!!

May we live those moments again.

Since I was a kid, i had this obsession with WC matches...But club ones didn't really matter to me..except maybe those few common ones...Real Madrid, Arsenal, etc. Really cool to watch. was quite sad to see Iran losing...Ali Karimi and Daei weren't even noticeable..and they weren't very well organized..anyhow, insh'Allah good luck next years...The US flunked it..they should go back to their AMREICAN Football...LOL...soccer ain't no match for them..umm..yeah and Brazil is getting some real criticism...esp. Ronaldo..pooooor Ronaldo :(

No-one had suffered more than Ronaldo. Branded overweight and unfit, the top scorer at the 2002 World Cup was perhaps only one game away from being dropped.

^^So true...akhh...MY FAV. PLAYER since i was a kid..They're being so harsh to him...ufff media ufff...

Well...Today's match was AWESOMEEE!!!And that was just a mere evidence that Ronaldo is still the best striker ever. Two goals, one was by his head and the other one was shot 20 m away from the goal. Just awesome.

Argentine is a good team too...Hope to see them play against Brazil in the finals ;)

Some of Shakespear's verses

We studied "Macbeth" this year...and I want to share a few of the verses that I really liked in that play:

Fair is foul, and foul is fair,
Hover through the fog and filthy air...
*************************

Come what come may,
Time and the hour runs through the roughest day.
*********************************

There ’s no art
To find the mind’s construction in the face.
*************************************
^^^true but sounds ironic in the play..
--------------------------------

Letting “I dare not” wait upon “I would,”
Like the poor cat i’ the adage.
**************************************

There ’s daggers in men’s smiles.
*****************************

Nothing in his life became him like the leaving it; he died as one that had been studied in his death to throw away the dearest thing he owed, as 't were a careless trifle.
*****************************************

Stars, hide your fires:
Let not light see my black and deep desires:
The eye wink at the hand; yet let that be
Which the eye fears, when it is done, to see.
************************************

Double, double, toil and trouble; fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

^^hehe..the witches are so funny..yet scary...

They were playing some kind of music too that goes with their prayer

and that's when the adults were done their service..They were organizing themselves on the stage to take some sort of a "memorable" picture for the entire audience...and we sneaked in too..lol

oh and did I mention that we've got two cute budgie birds too   But unfort. the green one has died :'( Due to the lackness of the job carried out by one of the siblings around <_<

OMG...why aren't the pictures of the birdies downloading?

yalla Insh'Allah in the next posts...

Trip to the church

Hehe…Salams people…
Yes indeed indeed…haven’t been here since ages…I know I know..I am forgiven heheh :blushes: I AM DONE SCHOOOL though!!..awesome!!! finally..what a year…Oh yes, let me tell you about my trip to the church 3 months ago..lol

It was a really good experience :) not too great, not too bad. Well, the one I went to was a “Korean” one but thankfully the sermon that we were going to attned was in English (as my friend has told me earlier) celebrating the holiday of Easter (The feast of Resurrection of Prophet Jesus (AS)). I learned quite a good amount of things…like there are those “pastors” who preach and lecture people…and the word “services” basically meant like some sort of a rite. or a “ritual practice” in other words..Their actions, prayers..etc So it was quite interesting :) . The thing is, I didn’t get to see the adults’ one :( and that’s where the “real” events take place…like all those preachers and priests…and their dresses and all, such as the ones they show on TV….I didn’t get to see that :’( 'cause mainly the reason is that they’re doing it in Korean, and the one that we were aimed to go to, was like for people our age who were preaching in English and thus, not one of those formal ones lol. You’re probably saying why the hell did I even go there. Well, how am I supposed to know? That was sooo nice of her inviting me to attend the service and all..She’s such a sweet cupcake  love ya jennn!! So we entered this huge auditorium, after the adults were done ofcourse, and two preachers started lecturing and showing those slides (there was actually a power point pres. too) and then there was this small play who resembled the crucifiction of Prophet Jesus (AS) (which we dont believe in obviously)..It was real cute...OMG did I mention the most horrible moments I went through? SEVEN males have offered me their hands as in to shake, and I refused all of them! OMG I am not even joking,,SEVEN!! Imagine the embarrassment…kha6iyya lol..They were nice about it however..Alhamdullilah it was all good…But maybe next time, I might try an English one…where the real things go on….anyhow, good experience :)

Pictures coming up next post insh'Allah.
